Choppy Saturday
I ate two pieces of toast this morning. One with peanut butter one with raspberry jam. I also had a cup of Mango Darjeeling tea.
I ate and drank them at my tiny desk in my tiny office because it's my favorite room in the house and I can watch the birds at the bird feeders from here.
I've had enough of my tiny desk and with balancing the key board on my lap while eating my toast and drinking my tea, so I ordered some 'Best Storage' products from Rhea a couple of days ago and they should be in by next week. Rhea had a cold and when she called to confirm my order, she started to cough and had to go because she was practically choking. Poor thing. I've never met her but I felt bad for her. Here's wishing Rhea will get better fast.
I was out yesterday and for the first time went into the store Pier 1. A friend said I would like it and she was right. I found curtains for my office. They're perfect and exactly what I've been looking for.
I'll show pictures of the office when everything's in it's place because I know you will not sleep until I do :o)
If these were mine I would squeal with delight.
I was in London Drugs yesterday and the cashier had a cold. He didn't sound very good and he also didn't have any kleenex when he sneezed. He just wiped the spit and snot on his hands. Then he went to hand me my change....2 quarters, a dime and a penny. I raised my eyebrows at him and told him to "keep the change". Then I turned around and bought some hand sanitizer for my purse. I didn't go back to the same cashier.
I am still searching for the cool canadian mom blog I found the other day but didn't keep the url for. I wonder after all this effort if the blog will be as good as I remember it to be?
I have started on my Christmas cards already.
Jealous?
I will be making stitching cards strictly for those who are dear to me.
Thank god I'm a miserable hag and don't consider too many people dear to me.
I am writing this entry like this today because I finished my '100 Things About Me' list and now I have short choppy sentences on the brain.
While working on my list I've come to realize I would be a very difficult person to 'get to know'.
I've written things on my 100 list I've never told a soul.
Weird how blogs make a person do that.

I looked through the Best Storgae Products from Rhea, and some of them looked good. What I really need is someone to come into my home and organize it with me. I am so organizationally challenged.
The curtains look nice.
I want those bunny slippers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those cards look nice.
I really enjoyed reading your 100 things about you list. I feel like I know you a bit better. At one point I was laughing, and at the next I felt incredibly sad.
There's been once or twice when I've written something on my blog, and then have come to my senses and deleted the post becasue it was too personal.

Hi Joy! I popped over from H&B because OH MY GOODNESS, I only noticed JUST NOW that I spelled separate wrong in my "corrected" comment. Buah ha! At least I'm not alone! ;)
Oh, and the London Drugs guy? GROSS! Good call on the sanitizer.
Fabulous bog design, by the way, I love it. I'm off to read your 101 things list now...
