Blogtipping - December 1

 

The first of every month is Blogtipping Day.   Three Blogtipping Rules for you.....

Bronze Blogtipping Rule:

On the first day of the month, pick three blogs and offer their bloggers three compliments and one suggestion each via a post on your blog.

Silver Blogtipping Rule:

Blogtipping is about making someone else's day and educating others about excellent blogging practices in the process.

Golden Blogtipping Rule:

Tip unto others as you would have others tip unto you.

My first Tippee:  What Did You Eat?:

1. I laughed out loud when I first saw this blog.  In the banner it reads "What Did You Eat?  The first question asked by my family on any occasion."  I instantly thought of Gregg's family.  A good Ukrainian family, who always makes sure people who visit are well fed and loved.
2. Anyone who can make split pea soup look this good is number one in my books, and take a look at this Lemon-Garlic Chicken.  The rest of the pictures on this blog are scrumptious looking as well and even though it's midnight when I'm writing this, I find I'm getting hungry.
3. Now the food is great, the pictures mouth-watering, but I'm sure you will agree it's the "Weekend Cat Blogging" with Upsie that will bring a smile to your face.  Some of Upsie's looks are priceless.

Tippee Number Two:  Linques:

1. Linques Design is a smorgasbord of jewelry, sewing and knitting.
2. Not only are her designs beautiful, but she offers tutorials so easy to read, even a newbie crafter like me can understand them.  Step by step precise instructions will allow you to make these wonderful Cascading Crystal Earrings.
3. I'm always a sucker for animals so I must show Cosmo as well.  I'm thinking by the looks of this picture, Cosmo is one lucky little pup.

Tippee Number Three:  My Five Little Monkeys:

1. I remember when my kids were younger I sometimes took pleasure in watching the senior citizen's faces at the mall when they would ask how old the kids were and found out I had three children all under the age of three.  But three kids in under three years is nothing compared to My Five Little Monkeys.  A family who has triplets....and now twins.
2. Resources are given and a reference to sign language in this post had me fascinated.
3. I sometimes worry about posting family blogs for blogtipping but I really feel this family deserves a Family of the Year Award.  Not for having twins and triplets, although that deserves an award all on it's own, but for sharing their family and perhaps helping others out there who may be completely overwhelmed with having twins or triplets.  A sense of humor, some very scary times, then add in touching moments like this and you've got a family who knows how to handle it all.

Is blog tipping anything like cow tipping. It doesn't seem to be..

LOL No nothing like cow tipping, although the evil part of me would sure love to see a cow tipped before I die. Blogtipping is fun though, I even have visions of a 'Happy' blog being mentioned one month...as being the funniest blog I know :o)
