I Belong in Dublin

I was blog surfing and found this over at Hillary's.

The farthest I've ever travelled was to Las Vegas, otherwise the T's don't venture anywhere too far.  I was a bit surprised to see Dublin.  I mean, Dublin?  Well it's a start :o)

You Belong in Dublin
Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.
You're the perfect person to go wild on a pub crawl... or enjoy a quiet bike ride through the old part of town.

My brother has just returned to England after living in Dublin for 2 years! Just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the box full of good things you sent for the scavenger hunt swap. I adore the stitchmarkers, thanks so much for traking them down, and my name is actually spelt correctly!!!! The sheep is so sweet and I'm sure to enjoy the chocolate which I am saving until the weekend. But the matchbox......all I can say is WOW....I love it and will really not want to put it away after Christmas. Thanks again Joy.

I belong in Dublin as well, apparently.

Okay, my curiosity is peaked...what was so special about the matchbox?

Hi Marylyn - thanks for popping in and letting me know your package arrived. I had SO much with that swap and learned a lot about knitting in the process. When I saw stitchmarkers I didn't have a clue what that meant :o) I thought I had taken a picture before I sent this swap out but my camera says no.

Debbie - I'd show you a picture but I gave away both matchboxes I found in swaps. I googled musical matchboxes and came up with this site..... http://www.automates-anciens.com/english_version/main_pages/musical_matchboxes_miniature_animated_scenes.php ..... cute 'plastic' matchboxes that play music and has moveable parts.

Ohhhhh - I didn't know that music boxes were also called match boxes.

I got London. I imagine I would be expected to live at the Royal Palace or something..

Looks like I'm going to Dublin with Joy and Debbie!! YaHooooo!! :-)

I love an Irish accent...

Happy - OOooo Royal Palace no doubt. Fancy Schmancy pants.

Sirdar - From what I read on your blogs you and Debbie would be a hoot to go to Dublin with!

I'm going to take this lil' test right now, DAMN IT...!!! I'm hooked on these things now...
