A dip in the.......
I dropped my keys in the toilet at the Panda Hut Restaurant tonight.
And that's all I'm going to say about that.
Sigh.

LOL!! I'm sorry. I know that must have been very ......annoying. But, it's making me laugh so much!

Heh. Slightly better than a cell-phone. Even cleaned and dried, every time it touched your face you'd - well, never mind that.

That is funny!! I've dropped a few things in there before. Fortunately before I used it. Panda Hut? Is that in St. A?

A cell phone?! Sorry, but there's no WAY I'd ever use that cell phone again.
As it is, I went and got new keys made up today. I couldn't stand it. And I so badly wanted to say "You know where those have been don't you?" to the snarky little hag who was holding them up close to her face to see if she had a key to match the mailbox key. I would have to order the keyless entry and I'm too cheap to do that, so I still have 'that' on my keychain. Gah!
Sirdar: Panda Hut is on 10879 23 Ave. West of IKEA. It's the first drive-thru chinese take-out place and it's fantastic. It takes me just about an hour to get over there from where I live, but some nights I can't stop craving their spring rolls. They make THE best spring rolls I've ever tasted. Their sauce for the spring rolls has pepper flakes in it and it's hot enough to make your nose run, but not too hot to enjoy. I've recommended the place to a lot of people and so far, no bad reviews :o)

That would be a fair drive for you. I work on 51ave and 86st. Might have to see about picking some up one day for dinner.
You want value and good food? Pagolac's on the south side...97st and 52ave...just north of 51st ave on the east side of the street. Its Vietnamese. We (work) go there for lunch quite often.

Ick. Did they take a spin in the dishwasher sanitizing cycle?

Those are the moments when you make a choice. Either I'm gonna flip out and let this piss me off or I'm going to laugh at how stupid things always happen to me. It's best to go with the latter, but not always easy.

I once dropped a $40 flashlight in a port-a-potty. There was NO way I'd fish it out... It wasn't even ours and I didn't want to tell our friends because it was their "new shmancy" flashlight. But... I had no choice because the light never went, it just floated and shined for 2 nights....
