Blogtipping - February 1

 

The first of every month is Blogtipping Day.   Three Blogtipping Rules for you.....

Bronze Blogtipping Rule:

On the first day of the month, pick three blogs and offer their bloggers three compliments and one suggestion each via a post on your blog.

Silver Blogtipping Rule:

Blogtipping is about making someone else's day and educating others about excellent blogging practices in the process.

Golden Blogtipping Rule:

Tip unto others as you would have others tip unto you.

My first Tippee:  imagine.  dream.  create:

1. I have been a lurker over at Cindy's blog since the day of her first entry.  I saw her blog posted in the signature of one of her emails over at Canadian Stamp Talk and went to take a look.....and now I never miss a day.
2. I have watched Cindy's blog grow over four short months and her warm and charming personality really shines through with each entry.  From her incredible cards to the delectable recipes, this lady has so much to offer.  Check out this beautiful quilt she made, and if you like blog candy make sure and go back often to enter in one of her many blog candy give-aways.
3. She shares a lot of links I've had the pleasure of visiting, and I like the bright and cheery atmosphere of her blog.  I can't wait to see more tutorials because as a newbie card maker/crafter I need all the help I can get.  I hope to continue going back to Cindy's blog for many years to come.
4. An extra tip....Cindy makes beautiful watermarks.  I've even asked her to make one up for me.  As always I was picky, but Cindy was an incredible trooper which tells you she must have the patience of a saint to put up with me.  And guess what?  That's right, after all my fussing I realized the very first design she made fit me to a T.  Get it?  Blush.  So if you're looking for a watermark for you photo's, Cindy is the one you want.

Tippee Number Two:  Poop and Boogies:

1. I haven't had time to delve deep enough to see if this guy is famous or not....but he should be.  Poop and Boogies (yes there's an explanation on how this name came to be on the sidebar of the blog) is written by William....um...Bill?  I liked his blog so much I went right to the 'almost' beginning because I wanted to know if he had always been this funny.  He was!
2. Bill is a husband and a father who has an incredible gift for writing about the every day life of his family.  I don't even know where to begin because it seems like I laugh at every single entry he writes.  I even get a kick out of his relatives.  Obviously a sense of humor runs in this family.  He also writes about his parents and growing up with 9 siblings.  It's hilarious to read entries on swearing or car rides.
3. A great blog filled with love for his family.  Lots of cute pictures and even clips that will melt your heart.

Tippee Number Three:  Mama Wiskas:

1. When I came across Mama Wiskas site I let out a little squeal of delight.  I collect depression glass and have started looking for vintage linen to go with my collection.  Mama Wiska's is just the place.  Art Deco, cottage floral, or even retro, she seems to have it all.
2. Not a linen collector?  That's ok because this site offers other collections as well.  From Kitchen decor and accessories to adorable Vintage Nursery items, going through this site takes you back to a time when life was simple but oh so good.  I have had my eye on these for some time now.  I can't help it, they are just so cute!
3. I never suggest ordering from sites unless I know for myself they offer what they advertise, and Mama Wiskas offers more.  She goes the extra mile to wrap your treasure with love, and if you're lucky, she will share a vintage postcard with your package.  Fast service and the quality is as she says it is.  All bonuses in my books.
