Sunday Morning Coffee
I wish I looked like the above picture. The grey hair yes. The perky boobs no. The green eyes yes. The tiny waist not even close. I found this when I was visiting Craftybanshee's Blog this morning. Go to Meez if you want to make your own.
I've got so much to blog about, a camera full of pictures but one puffed up pumpkin that's been keeping me hopping. Samantha would be the pumpkin. She had surgery on friday. Her wisdom teeth and one very stubborn baby tooth, so I've been playing 'mom' all weekend. Yes I know I'm a mom. But as anyone will tell you, the older your kids get, the less and less they need you. Until they have surgery.
Poor little thing. She looks like a chipmunk. A cute chipmunk of course, but a chipmunk nonetheless. Yesterday was a bad day. She started on her penicillin and it made her nauseas so today we will be taking only one pill at a time instead of two. The nurse said two Tylenol 3's would probably be too much for her because she's so tiny so we were to play a bit until we found what worked for her. One Tylenol 3 and 1 Motrin does the trick. Oh! And a little cowbell.......
That's right a cowbell. As much as some of us in the house wanted to start up a band and have a little more of THIS kind of cowbell. We bought Samantha the above cowbell because she needed things...alot of things....and as often as I went into her room, it was never the time she needed things.....then when she needed things, we wouldn't hear her calling. We hear the cowbell loud and clear.

Pooooor Samantha....I want a cowbell!!!! Your meez is very cute! I might have to play around with that later...it would be so nice to see what I'd look like with perky boobs again...

You crack me up! My heart goes out to Samantha though. My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled and then we had to deal with infections and....it was a mess! We are both glad it's over! I hope your daughter feels better soon! And, I agree with the comment left by Heather...perky boobs would certainly be nice to see again...it's been SO LONG! Question for you, Joy...how did you get Mushu to start using her new bed? I have bought Chloe a cute new little bed and she won't go near the thing....It's sitting there all pretty and new...I put her in it...she hops right out...can't get out fast enough! What am I doing wrong?? I even put food in it!

oh yeah....I'll have to try the meez site...do they have slightly overweight meez?

Heather: It's actually kind of fun. And I've seen pictures you skinny thang! It'll be great for you because you're all skinny and perky and everything and you will probably get a much more accurate look-alike. Me. Not so much.
Jeanne: I find with Mushu he won't go near his new bed until myself or the kids rub all over it. I know. Sounds too weird, but it's the only thing that works. Even putting it in with the dirty laundry to get your scent on it works like a charm. Or I guess I should say it's worked every time with Mushu. I saw the idea on a dog training show one time. The idea being our scent is all over it so they take to it better.
And no. No overweight Meez. Believe me I looked. So I guess this would be a 'fantasy' look alike :o)

I feel for your daughter. It hurts the parent more than the kid when they are hurting. Ok...It hurt me as a parent more than it hurt them...I guess I shouldn't speak for others.
And yes, having a little more cowbell is a good thing!!

It's nice that you are able to be there for her. I know even now when something goes wrong, or if I am feeling ill, need surgery I want my mom...lol! Somethings never change.

Poor Samantha. Stupid wisdom teeth. Our dentist thinks by x-rays that our daughter is of the evolved species. No wisdmom teeth! Cool, heh? Our son - not so lucky. ;)
A cow bell would come in handy. Although, I'm sure they'd soon learn how to tune that out too!

Joy...I didn't have the patience for the Meez thing yesterday...it kept coming up with errors...
Debbie that is really weird your girl not having wisdom teeth...she's lucky and your dentist is right...evolution...we don't need them anymore.
I had all 4 of mine removed at once...My Dr. sent me home with valium and some Tylenol 3 and I was one happy girl...
