Centerpiece of the Month-June
It's June 30th and that means it's the deadline to have your photo's in for Centerpiece of the Month. You can find out all the details at Janelle's blog Talk of Tomatoes.
This month I had an idea of what I wanted to do and after taking about 90 photo's I'm still not happy with it. But that's what is so great about Centerpiece of the Month, it doesn't have to be perfect. Just a centerpiece. July 7th is when all the Centerpieces will be posted at Talk of Tomatoes. May was pretty slim pickins, but hopefully there will be more for June. If not. Just look at mine.

Joy: I SO know the feeling of taking a million photos and still being a bit bummed. I really should take a photo class... it looks great by the way!

That is beautiful. I love that colour combination. I will have to check out the centrepiece of the month thing. Maybe I will try something for that in the next couple of months.

Lemons in a vase? Who knew art was so simple...

I think the colors are BEAUTIFUL!!! And I always love to see a bowl or vase full of lemons. Hey, those fancy pants decorators swear by them on TV. :):)

I love lemons...they're such a wonderful combination of color and texture. They look especially good against that gorgeous placemat.
It's our first day back to work after a long weekend today: this is the perfect shot of color, texture and composition for a day like today!

Love the lemons in a vase but i think they contrast too much with those flowers.

Penney: I've been thinking about this a lot. And I think you hit it! I might give this another whirl. Still with the lemons because I love the look, but in a much smaller container on the stainglass tray. Hey thanks :o)
