My. Mom. Is. Making. Me. Wear. These.
Today I was going to answer some questions that have been coming into me. Questions like "How do you stay so white?" and "How long is your tail?", stuff like that. But no one will get to read the answers to those questions this week because mom intervened and is making me show you my new booties.
Why am I wearing my new booties? Because the temperatures here have been -45 ° Celsius in the windchill and when I went outside before, I would be out for exactly 2.5 seconds and then come in crying because my paws were so cold. Then I would spend the next hour licking them because they hurt so much. So mom ran out and bought me booties and now I can go out much longer and I don't cry anymore and I don't even lick my paws anymore. But I still don't like the booties. They make me walk funny. And no matter which way you look at them.......
....I think they make my feet look big.

Don't be silly. Those bootays are stylin' and profilin'!

I had a dog, Garcia, that I put boots on for the rain-- not cold. He wore them once. The next time I tried to put them on him, he tried to bite me.
This is not a suggestion, Mushu!

I was thinkin....you could also use the four legged suit...check it out at http://www.fidofleece.com
I hate the damn thing...but my mom makes me wear it when it is so cold my fur falls off. And seriously. It IS warmer!

You've got a good mom Mushu!
When we lived in Fairbanks years ago we had -55 and our poor lab hurt his feet from the cold. Just the 20 or so seconds it took him to go out and pee and come back in hurt the pads on his feet.

Too cute. Gotta stay warm in that cold!

Hey Mushu, we think you look adorable in your booties. We have a Leader Dog friend in Canada whose Mom makes her wear booties in the winter too and she absolutely HATES them!

That dog's face really does show emotions.
(Mom, I don't mind wearing them, but Pulllleze, do you have to take a picture)

I don't think you will find any more stylish booties than that, and I at least she didn't get you pink ones. Frodo and George probably wish their parents were so nice to pamper them with booties. It would serve the family well, so the boys didn't lift their leg on the wood toboggan outside the door.

They may make your feet look big Mushu, but they make your legs look super skinny! ;-) They're adorable, as are you!

If I was drinkin' a Diet Coke just now (or anything else for that matter), I woulda been so ticked at you!
I just snorted.
It would've blown all over my laptop.
THAT would've been a tragedy.
(TOO, too FUNNY!!!)

We used to put tape on the bottom my cat's feet when I was younger. I wonder if your booties feel anything like that. Do you prance when you walk? He did.
Besides, I think you look quite handsome in a Paul Bunyon(an) sort of way.

I think your boots are AWESOME! I bought Fibi some of those when she was a puppy and she wouldn't move. That's how Fibi gets out of wearing anything but a collar, she just stands or lays flat as a rug, maybe you can try it if mom tries to put you in a silly outfit. . .

LOL I think you should get your mom a pair just like them so that you can match when you go out for car rides :-)

*LOL* @ Sirdar.
Mushu how sweet of your mom to get you some booties for your cute paws. I hate the cold myself and very grateful it is much warmer here.
